CHARLOTTE, N.C. (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) - An early morning shooting in north Charlotte that left a man fighting for his life early Thursday morning has took a tragic turn.
The victim, 29-year-old Danneul Lorenzo McLean, died from his injuries Friday, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police.
The shooting happened about 4 a.m. in the 1000 block of Druid Circle near Statesville Avenue. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department told Fox 46 Charlotte that McLean was found lying in the middle of the street. He was transported to the hospital with life threatening injuries, according to medic.

No arrests have been made at this time.
Homicide detectives are investigating.
