CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) - The Carolina Panthers' Chief Operating Officer Tine Becker has resigned, according to the team.
Becker's resignation was announced on Monday, shortly after the sale of the team to billionaire David Tepper was finalized.
Becker worked for the Panthers for 19 seasons, starting her full-time career with them in 1999. She had been serving as COO since December 2017.
Prior to joining the owner's office, she served as the team's director of entertainment from 2012 to 2014.
There is no immediate replacement for her position.
