ROCK HILL, SC (FOX 46 WJZY) - Two parents have been arrested after their 2-year-old child died inside their Rock Hill home Tuesday, according to the Rock Hill Police Department.
On Tuesday, April 24, police say they were called to a home in the 1100 block of Williams Street. Officers said they received a call just before 10 a.m. of a toddler not breathing.
The child's parents, identified as Lakeisha Jackson, 25, and Bruce Williams, 33, were with the toddler when the medical emergency began.
The 2-year-old, later identified as Miguel Williams, was pronounced dead on scene, police said.
As a result of the investigation, both Williams and Jackson have been charged with unlawful conduct toward a child. Both were denied bond Wednesday afternoon.
In court, Jackson said, "I just wanted to just say I was sorry for the whole everything that’s going on and everything was a complete accident."

In court, an investigator said police found injuries on the child's body "consistent with assault."
Detective Britney May with the Rock Hill Police Department said, "The suspects claim the victim accidentally drowned in the bathtub at the hotel."
Williams admitted that he used drugs at the hotel and stated that Ms. Jackson smoked marijuana."
Police say Jackson and Williams did not seek medical help for the child for at least two hours and that the original incident occurred at the Royal Regency Inn, a hotel on Riverview Road in Rock Hill.
Neighbors say Jackson and Williams did not live at the house on Williams Street where the child was pronounced dead.
