PHOTOS: Two arrested, two sought in restaurant break-ins

- Two teens were recently arrested after committing more than a dozen robberies in Ballantyne and Huntersville combined, police said. Now, the Huntersville Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying two others connected to the crime spree.

On November 27, 2017, the Huntersville Police Department arrested Douglas Mobley, 16, and Lamariay Witherspoon, 16. Both were charged on Monday, Nov. 27 for their involvement in the commercial breaking and enterings at: 

  • Subway
  • Little Caesar’s
  • Small Cakes
  • Papa Murphy’s
  • Pinky’s
  • NY Bagel

Mobley has been charged with six counts of breaking and entering, six counts of conspiracy to commit B&E, four counts of larceny after B&E, possession of firearm by minor, and possession of a stolen firearm. Witherspoon has been charged with six counts of breaking and entering, six counts of conspiracy to commit B&E, and four counts of larceny after B&E. 

Police said Witherspoon has also been charged for his involvement in five breaking and enterings in Charlotte that occurred on Monday, November 27. 

Now, the Huntersville Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying two other suspects involved in these breaking and entering cases.
