CHARLOTTE, N.C. (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) - Charlotte Mecklenburg Police are investigating after they say a business was damaged in an arson attempt.
At 11:39 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 22, police received a 911 call from the 2600 block of Shenandoah Ave. from Chantilly Corner Studios. The business only had minor damage, but accelerants were used in the crime, and evidence was collected.
Police say it appears the fire happened just before 3:15 a.m.
No one was injured and the damage to the building should only cost an estimated $500, police say. No other information has been released at this time.
