Police looking for suspect involved in armed robbery at Dollar General on York Hwy.

- Gaston County Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Dollar General Store Wednesday afternoon.

The store at 4016 South York Highway was robbed by someone with a tazer or stun gun who demanded money from the cashier, according to police.

The suspect is described as a man of average build and height, wearing a tan hoodie and dark pants.

His face was partially covered by mask of some type. He fled the scene on foot and possible got in a green Ford Explorer.

Cash was the only thing taken from the store, according to police. No injuries were reported by the store employees or customers.
