Police search for 3 armed robbery suspects caught on camera

- Three men busted into the Sprint store off Pineville-Matthews Road, berating two employees and a customer.

One had a gun raised in the air, eventually holding it to one employee’s stomach.

“It's scary! In broad daylight,” said resident Keith Smith,. “Took little under three minutes.”

While the one man held a gun at the female employee, the other took a customer and another employee into the back of the store. In the video, you can hear one thief yelling at his accomplice.

Video from a nearby restaurant, obtained exclusively by FOX 46 shows the getaway car. It’s a green and white Lincoln which police later found ditched at a Pineville apartment complex. Back in the Sprint store, the employees and customer were clearly shaken.

“I'm sure it was terrifying,” said resident Ken Baker. “But, again, it didn't seem very violent. It's great that nobody got hurt.”

Although police found the abandoned car, they’re still looking for three men and, they think, a female who was driving the car.

“You can tell by the video they've done it before,” said Smith. “They knew exactly what to do, where to go, so, I mean, it wasn't just spur of the moment;  they knew what they were doing.”

Some believe it’s only a matter of time before the only phone the thieves have access to is the one inside a jail.
