Missing 73-year-old man found, police say

- UPDATE: 9:24 a.m. 7/13/17 - The Silver Alert has been canceled for Jerry Clark, police say. 


The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing, endangered man in Burke County.

Jerry Lynn Clark, 73, is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment, deputies say. 

Clark is described as a white male, 5'3" tall, weighing 165 pounds with short brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen in blue jeans, an unknown colored shirt, and brown loafers. 

Clark drives as 1998 Nissan truck, possibly blue/grey in color with North Carolina tag XRH-8451. Deputies say Clark may have one to three firearms in his possession. He was last seen on West Pine Hills Ave. in Morganton.
