Police search for suspects in Brownlee Jewelers armed robbery

- Huntersville police are searching for two people after they said the duo robbed a local jewelry store. 

The incident happened at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, June 23 at Brownlee Jewelers located at 9763-B Sam Furr Road. 

Officers said two men entered the business and one of them brandished a weapon. No injuries were reported during the incident.

One suspect is described as a black male who was last seen wearing a grey shirt with dark sleeves, black pants, black tennis shoes, and black gloves. 

The second suspect is described as a white male who was last seen wearing a black short-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, white socks, black tennis shoes, and black gloves.

Both men were wearing teal motorcycle helmets during the robbery. One of the men was described as possibly having long hair.

Both suspects were last seen leaving the area on a black and silver motorcycle. The motorcycle was located a short distance from the incident location.

An undisclosed amount of jewelry was stolen during the robbery.
