President Obama, Hillary Clinton announce location of Charlotte campaign event

- President Barack Obama and presumptive democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton will campaign in Charlotte Tuesday, the Clinton campaign announced.

They are expected to discuss building on the progress made during Obama’s presidency and their vision for a more unified America, according to a press release.

The event will take place Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Charlotte Convention Center located at 501 S College Street.

Campaign officials have not released the details of time and place in Charlotte where the president and Clinton will make their appearance.

This will be their first campaign event together. President Obama endorsed Clinton on June 9.

Clinton recently paid a visit to the Tarheel state. She spoke at a rally in Raleigh on June 22.
