Red Cross assists Concord family displaced by home fire

- A large fire destroyed a Concord home Monday afternoon, according to fire officials. 

The fire broke out around 2:30 p.m. at a residence located off of Kathryn Drive at the 800 block of Accent Ave SE.

Firefighters said the house is a total loss. The fire was under control in 22 minutes.

One person was reportedly home at the time the fire started. The man ran up the street to a business to call for help. 

No injuries have been reported. 

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

The Red Cross is assisting the family at this time.
