The VFW of Indian Trail is getting a makeover -- a new road.
The private road leading to the center, VFW Lane, is full of pot holes. Town Council has approved funding to fix the road for the veterans.
The project will cost the town roughly $40,000.
"Well it's aggravating and it's aggravating for all of us, especially at the entrance to the road," Commander Andy Anderson said. "We were looking at funds for that project but it's a lot of money."
While there is no exact date for construction, the road has been honorably named after one of its WWII veterans -- James Crump -- as James Crump Way.
