Salisbury man accused of beating father to death, manhunt underway

- The Salisbury Police Department is searching for a man they believe beat his father to death earlier this year. 

Juan Renardo Chunn, 49, is wanted on first degree murder charges in the April 19 death of his 75-year-old father Eugene Milton Chunn.  

Just before 1:30 a.m. someone called 911 and said a person at 816 E. Franklin St. had gone into cardiac arrest. Upon arrival, Salisbury Police found Eugene dead in the home with "obvious signs of trauma" to his body.

In April, family members told FOX 46 Eugene had several adult children, one of whom was living with him at the time. They said they believed his son killed him.

Juan is described as a black man, 5'9" weighing about 150 pounds. His last known location was Augusta, GA.
