CHARLOTTE, N.C. (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) - National Puppy Day is Saturday and is a day to celebrate the fluffy, cuteness, and loving pets we have all come to adore, and maybe even find a new furry friend to bring home.
One of the most important roles of National Puppy Day is to bring attention to how many puppies need a home. Nearly four million dogs enter shelters every year, according to the Animal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
