SC Highway Patrol seeks help in fatal hit-and-run

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is seeking the public's help regarding a fatal hit-and-run in which a burgundy Nissan Rogue was struck and ran off the highway. 

Troopers said a passenger inside the vehicle died as a result. 

The crash happened around 5:40 p.m. Saturday, May 7 on Interstate 26 eastbound, near the 134 mile marker in Calhoun County. 

Troopers are searching for a white Dodge Ram 2500 Crew Cab pickup believed to have damage on the right front bumper, fender area on the passenger side. The exact year of the vehicle is currently unknown.
