CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) - A second person has been charged in connection to the shooting death of a woman early Sunday morning in southwest Charlotte.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say they found 20-year-old Tayzhah Bush and another female inside an apartment in the 500 block of Fairview Avenue with gunshot wounds. Bush was pronounced dead on scene. The other victim was taken to the hospital.
On Sunday, authorities arrested and charged 22-year-old James Jawann Ratliff with murder in connection to Bush's death.
On Monday, police arrested and charged a second suspect, 21-year-old Don'Travius Jetton Henderson with murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Both were taken into the custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff's Office.
