Shots fired during Gastonia Pharmacy robbery

- Shots were fired during an armed robbery in Gastonia Friday evening. 

Gastonia Police say the Union Drugs Pharmacy located at 1546 Union Road was robbed at gunpoint around 6 p.m. 

At least two shots were fired during the attempted robbery. A countertop was damaged with two bullet holes. No one was hurt, according to police.

A description of the suspect was not provided by officers. Police continue to investigate.
