Special Olympics rocks Camp Soar

- Athletes don't take days off - they keep getting better! And these special Olympians proved that on Wednesday.

More than 350 of the area's best are at Camp Soar for the week.

Hosted by the Levine Jewish Community, campers aren't only just training but also having fun by going on nature walks and doing community service.

Those helping with the camp said they wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

"I look forward to this all year. This is my favorite time of the year, more than Christmas and my birthday. This is not only a chance for me to give back, it helps the campers. It's  such a great week for them. It gives me happiness to help them for that great week," Samantha Roche, volunteer, said.

More than 400 volunteers are on hand to make the athletes have the time of their lives.
