Stabbing reported near Transit Center in uptown Charlotte

- Charlotte-Mecklenburg police confirm officers responded to a stabbing Thursday night in uptown. 

The stabbing happened in the 300 block of East Trade Street near the Transit Center. A large number of police responded to the scene.

FOX 46 cameras captured a person being treated and then taken away on a stretcher. They were holding their head which appeared to be bleeding. Another person was also treated at the scene before being taken away on a stretcher.

GS4 Special Police were also on scene investigating.

One person was taken away in handcuffs.
