Temporary restraining order issued against "crooked contractor" Randy Briel

- A judge issued a temporary restraining order against a deck builder the North Carolina attorney general has labeled a "crooked contractor," getting results after a series of FOX 46 investigations. 

For years, FOX 46 has been looking into complaints from viewers that Randy Briel and his accomplice Glenn Dunnam. They were accused of taking tens of thousands of dollars for jobs they never completed or even started.

Stein filed a lawsuit and a judge granted a temporary restraining order Monday. 

The duo is now prohibited from soliciting, advertising and doing any construction work. They are also required to turn over all financial records.
