Three wanted in Food Lion armed robbery in Iredell County

- The Iredell County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying three men in connection to an armed robbery at a local Food Lion grocery store. 

The robbery happened at 8:19 a.m. Monday, July 16 at the Food Lion located along Williamson Road. 

Deputies said a man entered the store and made a purchase at the register. A second man then entered the store with a firearm and confronted the clerk at the front of the store. Both men fled the store in a newer dark gray Doge Challenger, heading north on Williamson Road. 

The first suspect is described as a thin black male around 5’10” to 6’ tall, wearing white Hollister shorts, a black and gray short sleeved pullover shirt with a hood that displayed the word “Brooklyn” on the front in white letters, and a black Carolina Panthers hat.

The second suspect was armed with a pistol. He is described as a black male around 5’5” to 5’7” tall wearing dark colored pants, a dark shirt, and a dark “Boonie” hat.

The third suspect is described as a black male who was last seen driving the Dodge Challenger wearing all black clothing. He remained outside near the car during the robbery.
