(FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) - Showers will continue Friday morning and they will taper off again into this afternoon. On Saturday the Carolina wedge pattern will likely set up meaning we can expect cloudy skies and light drizzle/mist throughout the day.
A cold front will move in on Sunday and will finally put an end to the extremely wet pattern. Sunday will start with morning showers but skies will clear quickly and afternoon temperatures will soar into the 70 degree range.
