STANLY COUNTY, NC - Two people facing multiple charges including first-degree murder were transferred from Alexander County Jail to Stanly County Jail Tuesday without bond, according to police.
The Albemarle Police Department said on Thursday, March 10 detectives executed a search warrant at 311 T.E. White Sr. Drive. The search warrant was in direct connection to the victim, Robert Adam Hearne Jr.
As we've reported, Hearne was discovered dead in Alexander County behind an abandoned building.
Detectives said evidence was obtained from the residence that lead them to believe Hearne was killed in Albemarle and taken to Alexander County.
With this new information, the two suspects, Tony Anthony Hearne and Linsey Marie Lentz, were charged with first-degree murder and concealment/failure to report the death of a human body.
The two remain at Stanly County Jail without bond. Their next court date appearance is Wednesday, March 16.
