Two men arrested in Rock Hill after robbing man of his rent money

- Two men have been arrested after robbing another man at gunpoint of his rent money Tuesday evening in Rock Hill, police said. 

The armed robbery occurred at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12 in the 200 block of Wall Street. 

Rock Hill police said the victim went to a local grocery store to call 911 after the robbery happened, and to give a description of the two suspects. 

Officers went to the location of the armed robbery on Wall Street where they observed one of the suspects in a gray Kia Sedan. Upon approaching the suspect, later identified as Tremaine Harris, he fled the scene in the vehicle. 

Officers followed Harris and were able to stop him in the parking lot of Baxter Hood Center on Anderson Road. Harris was arrested at that time and the stolen money was recovered. 

Officers who remained on Wall street located the second suspect, identified as Dyquan Austin. 

Harris has been charged with failure to stop for blue lights and siren, armed robbery, criminal conspiracy and possession of a gun during a crime of violence. Austin has been charged with armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, and possession of a gun during a crime of violence.
