Two students charged with bringing gun to Central Cabarrus High School

- Two students were arrested Friday for a bringing a stolen gun to Central Cabarrus High School, officials said.

Jalen Rashun Dixon and Sieaira Lillian West, both 17, brought the gun to school, according to the Concord Police Department. The firearm was found in West's backpack and later determined that it was reported stolen, police said.

Dixon was charged with weapons on campus or other educational property, a felony, and possession of a stolen firearm.

West was charged with felony weapons on campus or other education property.
