Two wanted for pointing gun in Walmart parking lot in Gastonia, police say

- The Gastonia Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects in connection to an incident where a gun was pointed at a woman and her 2-year-old daughter inside a local Walmart parking lot.

"I just got a gun pulled on me," the victim told Fox 46 Charlotte.

It happened on Thursday, Oct. 18 at the Walmart located at 3000 E. Franklin Boulevard.

Officers said the two suspects were spotted inside a white passenger car with a stolen tag EHJ-3831. The suspects are described as a black man and woman. The man is described as being in his early to mid-30s with a muscular build, shoulder length dreads and a scraggly beard.

The woman is described as 25 to 30 years old with curly, shoulder length hair.

"That is scary, that is scary that you have to even worry about somebody behind you whether you’re safe or not," said shopper Sinda Reed.

Anyone with information is asked to call Det. Houser at (704) 836-0041 or Crime Stoppers at (704) 861-8000. Crime Stoppers pays cash for information that leads to an arrest.
