Unattended candle causes $30K in damages to Charlotte home

- A home sustained $30,000 in damages following an early morning fire Tuesday in north Charlotte. 

The fire occurred around 3:15 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19 at a house along Ramona Street in the Lakewood neighborhood. 

Fire officials on scene said the fire started from an unattended candle. 

No injuries were reported.
