Veteran receives apology letter after rude note left on car

A veteran who received a rude note on her car parked in a Veteran's spot at Harris Teeter has now received another note. But this time it was an apology.

The writer had no idea that Rebecca Hayes served 8 years in the U.S. Navy. Hayes sent FOX 46 Charlotte a picture of the apology letter appeared to have been handwritten by the same person.

It reads, "I would like to apologize to you. I know is no excuse, but I've seen so many young people park in retired vet's spaces along with handicap lately. And I lost my cool. I'm sorry you were the one who got the result of that angry moment."

Hayes posted the full apology on her Facebook, above.
