CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46) - Charlotte-Mecklenburg police have identified a man accused of shooting a 5-year-old girl inside a car Thursday night near uptown Charlotte.
Patrick Glenn, 27, is wanted on charges related to the shooting that happened about 9:16 p.m. at the intersection of 12th Street and N. College Street.
Investigators said the child was in the vehicle with three adults and one other child traveling down the road when another vehicle pulled up next to them and fired multiple shots, striking the girl.
She was taken to Carolinas Medical Center where she underwent surgery. She is expected to be okay.
Glenn has outstanding warrants for assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, four counts of assault with a deadly weapon, discharging a firearm into occupied dwelling and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Glen should be considered armed and dangerous. He was last seen in a newer model silver Nissan Sentra.
