Woman held up at gun point at Galleria Mall

- A 60-year-old woman was robbed at gun point Wednesday afternoon at the Galleria Mall in Rock Hill, according to police.

"Yesterday around this time someone was getting robbed and it's unfortunate and awful to think about," Galleria Mall Shopper Derek Owens said.

Rock Hill police said it happened around 3 p.m. in front of the Belk parking lot. Police say William Joseph Bogue allegedly pulled up in a pick-up truck beside the woman. Bogue got out, pointed the gun at her and then took her purse. Detectives tell us Bogue then jumped in his car and hit the woman with the door of his pick-up truck before fleeing.

"It’s not a location, I would think something like that would happen with all these people here," Shopper David Nettles said.

Police said they spotted the pick-up truck later on Anderson road in Rock Hill and pursued the truck before losing it in heavy traffic on Celanese Road.

Shoppers say they're worried Bogue may come back

"You never know where he is at or when he's going to strike again. Obviously he is going to the way his patterns are setting out," Shopper Larry Barnhill said.

Bogue was arrested Friday in Chester County, according to Rock Hill police. Chester County Sheriff's Deputies also want Bogue behind bars. They believe he is behind an armed robbery at the Bob’s Superette on Highway 9 in Richburg, S.C.
