Police: Man shot to death in car, crashes into pole

CMPD is conducting a homicide investigation after a man was found shot to death in his car early Wednesday morning.

The incident happened at the 2200 block of Rozzelles Ferry Rd. The call came in at 12:20 a.m. according to police.

Officers responded to 911 calls in reference to shots fired near Seldon Avenue and Rozzelles Ferry Rd. Police say while on the way officers received additional calls for a single vehicle accident at the same location. When officers arrived they found a car that had run into a pole. 

Kynyatta Dmyr Tshiona was inside the car suffering from an apparent gunshot wounds, according to police. He was pronounced dead on scene by Medic. Detectives do not believe this was a random act of violence.
