CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) - Pro football players Greg Olsen and Travis Kelce took their on-the-field rivalry to the next level with sampling the hottest chip in the world.
The Carolina Panther went head-to-head with Kansas City Chiefs' tight end Wednesday by taking the Paqui 'One Chip Challenge.'
Each player was given a glass of milk and pepto bismol.
"Smells like there's fumes on this thing," Kelce said at the start of the challenge. "My last words."
As they each took a bite of the chip, neither player could deny the chip's intensity.
"It feels like it's going to come out of my nose," Olsen said. "That's banana land."
"I'm doing better than you will Greg. I have to tell myself this because I'm slowly losing confidence," Kelce said, with tears streaming down his face. "I will not drink that milk, milk does not need to be drunk, Greg."
"I'm dying. Is this ever going to end?" Olsen said while gulping down milk. "Do you want to know the craziest thing? I don't even like milk. I haven't had a glass of milk since I was probably five. Not even kidding."
"I don't need napkins or milk or pepto bismol," Kelce said while hiccuping and crying.
We admire your courage, boys.
Participants who consume the world's hottest chip, The Carolina Reaper, could win a year's supply of Paqui chips and a custom reaper neon sign. All you have to do is purchase the chips and post a video or photo of yourself "enjoying" the chip to Instagram or Twitter using #OneChipChallenge.

The head-to-head competition between Olsen and Kelce was all in good fun, and it's still unclear who really won.
