Cam Newton Celebrates Touchdown with Dance, Angers Some

Panthers quarterback Cam Newton angered some Titans players when he celebrated a touchdown by dancing in the end zone. When Titan's linebacker Avery Williamson showed he didn't like the touchdown celebration, what did Cam do? Bust out a few more moves.

The Carolina Panthers are 9-0 for the first time in franchise history after beating the Tennessee Titans 27-10. Cam Newton completed his first 11 passes on his way to leading the Panthers to their 13th straight regular season win. Some of the Titans were not happy with Newton's touchdown dance after he scored on a 1-yard run in the 4th quarter. Newton explains why he celebrates like that after he scores. FOX 46 Charlotte

Newton said he's not dancing in the end zone to be disrespectful. He says he got the idea for the dance from his younger brother, who encouraged him to do something cool in the end zone. "Dab on them folks," Newton told reporters his brother said to him.

Cam Newton completed his first 11 passes — the longest streak of his career — and undefeated Carolina shut out Tennessee in the second half of a 27-10 victory on Sunday. The Panthers (9-0) extended their league-best winning streak to 13 games.
