Waffle House gives the Panthers a different kind of home-field advantage

The Carolina Panthers are 15-1 and are set to take on the Arizona Cardinals in the 2016 NFC championship game. So, what's been their key to success? The players will admit that they've quickly fallen in love with the chain restaurant Waffle House.

They've become such big fans of Waffle House that defensive end Mario Addison even called it "an advantage." Cam Newton said that he went there so frequently two years ago, that he and the staff were essentially on a first-name basis.

It didn't stop there either, as former Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Kevin Norwood, who was traded to the Panthers this past offseason, was nearly distraught when finding out that there was not a Waffle House anywhere near him in Seattle.
