(FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) - Rainfall is making for wet commutes Thursday morning as a cold front swings through the area.
The rain will come to an end in the Piedmont between 9 and 10 a.m. Watch for light snow showers to develop across the mountain counties later Thursday morning.
Accumulations will be light and the snow will end by 1 to 2 p.m.
Breezy conditions will develop across the viewing area later Thursday morning and it’ll stay windy into this evening.
Parts of the viewing area are under wind advisories for potential wind gusts of up to 50 mph.
