If you would like to donate toys, you can drop them off at Charlotte Fire Stations​, β€‹CMPD Division Offices​, ER Plumbing in Matthews, at V101.9 and Power 98 FM at 1520 South Blvd.

You can also make a monetary donation through PayPal.

Toy Donation Guidelines
Toys for children between the age of 0 to 14 year old
No-violent toys
New unwrapped toys (You can always provide gift wrapping paper with your donated toys)

Become a Volunteer at the Warehouse

CMPD Explorers Christmas Project Warehouse Volunteers
We invite individuals or Organizations/Companies to sign up for volunteer days at our warehouse. Volunteers will assist with sorting donated toys, filling family boxes, wrapping gifts, cleaning up etc.

The warehouse will be open on Monday, November 26th, 2018 and close Friday December 21, 2018. Volunteers can sign up for any weekday between these dates.

CMPD Explorer’s Christmas Project WalMart Toy Drive Collection Days 

  • November 30th – from 6am to 7pm at the Whitehall Commons WalMart in Charlotte at 8180 South Tryon St. Charlotte NC
  • Saturday December 8th from 11am to 2pm at the Galleria WalMart in Matthews at 1830 Galleria Blvd, Charlotte, NC 
  • Sunday December 9th from 1pm to 4pm at the WalMart in Charlotte on Wilkinson Blvd.  3240 Wilkinson Blvd, Charlotte, NC 

CMPD Explorer’s Christmas Project – Toy Drive Collection Days at Speedway Christmas – on Thursday’s when you donate a toy you will get $5.00 off admission to Speedway Christmas 

  • Thursday November 29th
  • Thursday December 6th – FOX 46 to hand out FREE HOT CHOCOLATE at the entrance from 5pm to 7pm
  • Thursday December 13th – FOX 46 to hand out FREE HOT CHOCOLATE at the entrance from 5pm to 7pm
  • Thursday December 20th – FOX 46 to hand out FREE HOT CHOCOLATE at the entrance from 5pm to 7pm

CMPD Explorer’s Christmas Project Toy Drive Collection at Winter Wonderland Ice Rink at Southpark Mall

  • Tuesday December 11th – Toy Collection at Winter Wonderland Ice Rink at Southpark Mall - FOX 46 to hand out FREE HOT CHOCOLATE from 5pm to 7pm
  • Tuesday December 18th – Toy Collection at Winter Wonderland Ice Rink at Southpark Mall - FOX 46 to hand out FREE HOT CHOCOLATE from 5pm to 7pm
  • Wednesday December 19th – Toy Collection at Winter Wonderland Ice Rink at Southpark Mall - FOX 46 to hand out FREE HOT CHOCOLATE from 5pm to 7pm

DELIVERY DAY will be on Friday December 14th 

Toy Collections will continue until Friday December 21st to assist with any family emergencies, house fires or calls that police or fire respond to where someone is in need.
