- Add 2 lbs of chicken breast to a slow cooker with 1/2 cup of water.
- Combine all other ingredients into a saucepan over medium-high heat and whisk to combine.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer uncovered for 30 minutes, until the sauce has reduced by about half.
- Add 1 cup of sauce to slow cooker.
- Let rest of sauce cool and store in a glass jar.
