We're heating up winter with first responders that heat us up with how they care for our community!

Josh Johnson, is Mr. June in the 2016 Carolina Firefighter calendar, benefiting the greater Charlotte Area SPCA.. The Charlotte native says he always wanted to be a firefighter, and has already worked 20 years in Charlotte as one.

He was one of the firefighters who responded to Cam Newton's accident when his truck flipped last year near Bank of America Stadium. "You realize how tough that guy is," Johnson said about Newton.

Johnson lives with his girlfriend, whom he met after he told her about his cigar business, Burners Cigar Company. Johnson says if you're looking to buy a cigar, but don't know where to start, make sure you ask for help! He recommends beginners go far a milder cigar, which usually has a lighter wrapper. He says, you're actually not supposed to inhale the smoke; let the flavor swish around in your mouth, then blow the smoke out to look like a pro. Citrus fruits are a good way to get rid of the smell once you're finished.
