Lacey is a 5 year old Pit Mix. She is a clam, gentle and sweet girl. She is affectionate with everyone she meets and has a laid back personality. She enjoys car rides, walks in the park, and cuddling. Lacey is heartworm positive and will receive a voucher to help offset the cost of her heartworm treatment. She is also eligible for CMPD Animal Care and Control's Pit Pass adoption special. Her adoption fee is free, and she will also receive 5 free training sessions, collar and leash set, 1 XL extreme kong toy and an ID tag.

If you are interested in adopting Lacey, visit the CMPD Animal Care and Control website for more information. Lacey is also eligible for the Foster to Adopt Program where a member of the public can foster her for her heartworm treatment. After her treatment is complete, you might have fallen in love with her and can't give her up!

On Sunday August 23rd, CMPD Animal Care and Control will be hosting their 8th annual Animal Kneads Day at Great Harvest Bread Company present by the PetCo Foundation. On the day of the event, you can come out to Great Harvest Bread Company, 6420 Rea Rd. Charlotte, NC from 10am-5pm. There will be vendors, music, food and of course some cute adoptable animals. A donation of $10 will get you a loaf of fresh baked bread. If you are a fan of the Cinnamon Chip bread, you will want to try the special edition Cinnablast loaf that is made specifically and only for Animal Kneads Day!
