1 treated for life-threatening injuries after being shot in northeast Charlotte

One person was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being shot in northeast Charlotte Monday afternoon.

It happened just before noon in the 400 block of Yuma Street near Cinderella Road, officials say. 

The person, who has not been identified, was taken to Carolinas Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Police say the victim was shot by an unknown suspect who took off in a vehicle. No arrests have been made.
