16-year-old charged with murder in Rock Hill shooting

A 16-year-old is being charged as an adult with murder in connection to a double homicide that happened in Rock Hill back in February, according to the Rock Hill Police Department. 

The deadly shooting occurred at 1:35 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26 at Chestnut Street and South Jones Avenue.

As officers arrived on scene, they located two people inside a white Chevrolet Impala both dead from apparent gunshot wounds. 

On Friday, March 1, investigators issued arrest warrants for murder on Sam Saadiq Robinson, 16. He was located at a home in Charlotte, North Carolina and is currently being held in the Queen City awaiting an extradition hearing, police said. Robinson is being charged as an adult in this case.
