4 overnight shootings across Charlotte are connected, police say

Charlotte Mecklenburg police say they believe four separate shootings that took place overnight are connected. 

The first shooting was reported in the 4300 block of Enoch Drive in north Charlotte at 12:47 a.m. Officers arrived and found that a house was shot at, but no one was injured. 

The second call came in at 12:52 a.m. in the 600 block of Bradford Drive in west Charlotte. The two locations are about 15 minutes away from each other. There, officers found one victim with a non-life threatening gunshot wound, and another home that had been shot into. 

Seven minutes later, another shooting was reported in the 1600 block of Thriftwood Drive, also in west Charlotte. No injures were reported, but another home was found riddled with bullets. 

The last call came in at 1:02 a.m. Officers went to the 4600 block of Esmeralda Drive where they found a second victim with a non-life threatening gunshot wound and the house shot into. This locaiton is just 10 minutes away from where the first shooting took place. 

CMPD believes this is part of an ongoing dispute between a group of people. No arrests have been made at this time, but the investigation is ongoing.
