Lancaster, SC - The father of a 5-year-old disabled boy who died last month has now been charged with his murder, according to the Lancaster County Sheriff.
Deputies arrested Robert Jordan, 47, Tuesday and charged him with homicide by child abuse. He told investigators his son, La'Marion Jordan, fell out of his wheelchair on September 4, 2015. The following day Jordon took his son to the hospital, where he died.
An autopsy showed the boy died from a blunt force injury to the head.
Investigators talked to people who know the Jordan family and a medical expert. They interviewed Robert Jordan a month after his son's death, and took him into custody the same day.
