American Airlines resolves computer problems

American Airlines has resolved computer problems affecting travelers nationwide. All of the airline's flights into and out of Dallas, Chicago and Miami were delayed during the outage, the FAA confirmed.

Charlotte-Douglas International Airport said American Airline flights departed and arrived as scheduled. Any American Airlines flights scheduled to arrive from or depart to affected airports were likely delayed.

Around 12:30p, the American Airlines twitter account acknowledged problems with the airline's Web site. At 2:20p, they tweeted the issues had been resolved.
