Caldwell County woman accused of putting meth in co-worker's drink

A Caldwell County woman was arrested after she was accused of putting meth in her co-worker's drink. 

Police in Hudson, NC were called to Caldwell Memorial Hospital around 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 1 to meet with 35-year-old Jose Antonio Lopez. Lopez told the officers that he believed he had been poisoned at his job.

Following an investigation, police determined that an unknown amount of meth had been put in into a drink Lopez left unattended in the employee break room at BeoCare. 

Using surveillance video, officers identified Charissa Nicole Walker, 41, as the suspect. According to police, Walker and Lopez had been involved in an ongoing dispute. 

Walker was taken into custody and placed under a $15,000 bond at the Caldwell County Detention Center. She had her first court appearance on Monday, Nov. 5.
