A car thief was confronted by a Carolina Panther’s player, who caught the suspect inside his car!

Police say Alex Armah, Carolina Panther’s fullback, saw suspect Daniel Cagle going through his stuff Wednesday night around 10:00 p.m.

His car was parked in an Uptown parking deck on Graham Street. Armah helped hold Cagle until police arrived, and Cagle was arrested on scene.

Cagle was booked into the Mecklenburg County jail but was released on a $2,500 bond.

Cagle has been arrested for trespassing before. In 2016, he was charged for trespassing, resisting a public officer, carrying a concealed weapon, and possessing a stolen firearm.
