CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46) - The Carolina Panthers will host the third-annual tree lighting on Wednesday.
The tree lighting celebration is free of charge and will take place outside Bank of America Stadium, on the corner of Mint Street and Graham Street, from 6-7:30 p.m.
Panthers fans will enjoy appearances by Sir Purr, TopCats, PurrCussion, Black and Blue Crew, and performances by Stephanie Streater and Carmelo Smith of Sol Fusion as well as the UNC Charlotte Faculty Brass Quintet. Families will be treated to an evening that includes children’s activities, holiday music and a special visit from Santa Claus. The event will be capped by the tree lighting ceremony of the 55-foot tall Norway Spruce harvested in Banner Elk, N.C
