Charlotte DOT Preparing for Snow

Crews with Charlotte's Department of Transportation are getting streets ready for snow that may hit the QC later this week.

CDOT is pouring salt brine on bridges, main roads, and hospital entrances. They're also making themselves available for emergency crews, if they need help.

FOX 46's Chief Meteorologist Rob Eicher says Charlotte has about a 60% chance of getting 1-2 inches of snow late Wednesday night into Thursday morning.

People can report icy roads by calling CharMeck 311.
