Charlotte Ebola Survivor Returns to Liberia

The second American to contract Ebola, and a Charlotte missionary, is back in Liberia.

According to the Sierra Leone Times, David and Nancy Writebol returned six months after they left the country, to seek medical treatment for Nancy.

She will serve as personnel director for SIM. Her husband will oversee the mission's hospital, radio station and grade school as SIM's country director.

According to the paper, schools in Liberia re-opened in the last week for the first time in six months. They closed during the epidemic that claimed 3,900 Liberian lives.
