A student at Walter G. Byers elementary school was arrested after she allegedly fought with officers and caused a disruption while at school Thursday.
According to the police report, the student was being aggressive with staff in a hallway and was disrupting class. When school resource officers arrived, she resisted arrested and wouldn't let the handcuffs be put on her. Officers had to pick her up and place her in the patrol car. The student was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest and was sent to diversion.
A CMS spokesperson said they have no comment on the incident.
